Residents have a chance to see plans and give their input on a project to restore Bayou Auguste in east Biloxi during a meeting Thursday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Gorenflo Elementary School library.
Representatives of the Gulf Coast Community Design Studio will discuss the project and invite suggestions on how trails, pavilions, and piers can be used in a new Bayou Auguste Greenway.
The Gulf Coast Community Design Studio is working to restore Bayou Auguste in partnership with the City of Biloxi, Biloxi Public Schools, the Land Trust for the Mississippi Coastal Plain, and the Biloxi Housing Authority.
