Here are photos of Dann Balius and workers from his Dann Balius Welding and Iron making repairs to the steel grating of the Popp’s Ferry bridge on Wednesday night. Balius fabricated sections of grating and welded them to the steel deck to repair areas that were showing signs of fatigue. Traffic was narrowed to one lane during the three-hour process, which was publicized in advance. Photos by John Salisbury of the Biloxi Public Works Department.
