Students and staff with the Tulane Regional Urban Design Center were in Biloxi on Saturday (Jan. 22, 2011) to visit Point Cadet and City Hall. The TRUDC, led by Director Grover Mouton, has been tasked by Mayor A.J. Holloway to develop conceptual plans for the revitalization of public land at the easternmost tip of Point Cadet. Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann is also a partner in the project. Students viewed the waterfront site south of U.S. 90 from atop the Isle Casino parking garage and later met with Mayor Holloway and others at City Hall.
