Here is a collection of photographs showing the Biloxi Lighthouse through the years. The city has a project in the works to refurbish the storm-ravaged icon, which is situated in the center median of U.S. 90 and serves as the Biloxi’s signature landmark. The collection of photos includes images of the Lighthouse in 1909, after the storm of 1919, in the 1930s, and as it appeared pre- and post-Katrina. Images also show damage to the brick-lined interior of the cast-iron structure, as well as the view from atop of the lighthouse. Click on individual images for larger view.
