Good news from Oscar Renda Contracting, the company overseeing the massive and disruptive infrastructure work in east Biloxi: Motorists and residents should be seeing permanent asphalt going down on Back Bay Boulevard near Oak, and on Crawford Street, and next month on Seal Avenue.
Project manager Joel Murrah made the announcements on these areas and others in a new, two-minute video published today on the city’s website and YouTube page.
Murrah also reported that the installation of a major sewer line on Division Street, a major trunk line that will run the length of the major thoroughfare, is now complete from the Keegan’s Bayou Wastewater Treatment Plant to I-110 on the western end and from Oak to Fountain Lane on the eastern end.
The Division Street work is aiming to meet at Nichols Drive, the highest point of the work, which in some areas is as deep as 25 feet below the roadway.
