Extra shifts of police officers and firefighters will be on duty today and throughout the evening, but Biloxi Chief Administrative Officer Mike Leonard says non-emergency city offices in Biloxi will close at 2 this afternoon.
“We take this measure of closing early in an abundance of caution,” Leonard said. “However, residents should be aware that all emergency personnel are on duty and ready to handle any issues.”
Leonard said he anticipates a delayed opening of city offices on Wednesday and encourages non-emergency city employees to follow BMail, B-Alert and local media regarding work schedules.
