This week in economic development, single family residential home construction continues to thrive. We received 19 sets of plans for new single family houses to be constructed in locations throughout the city. Construction sites include: (4) for Goose Pointe, (4) for Mill Creek, Taylor Oaks (3), Hengen Place (2), Rock Creek (2), Malpass Landing (2), Lauren Falls (1) and Beau Chene (1). `
At their regular meeting next week, the Planning Commission will consider an application for another new single family subdivision development containing 88 lots. The proposed development will be located on Old Highway 67, north of Woolmarket Road.
