The City of Biloxi’s Aquatics Division will begin winter swim lessons on Jan. 29.
Registration will begin Friday, Jan. 19, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. for Biloxi residents and on Saturday, Jan. 20, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. for Biloxi and non-Biloxi residents.
Registration will be at the Biloxi Natatorium, 1384 Father Ryan Ave.
Cost for the two-week session is $30 for each Biloxi resident and $40 for each non-Biloxi resident. Registration will continue until classes are full.
The Biloxi Natatorium will offer three types of classes for different ages:
— Level I & II classes are for children ages four and up.
— Level III & IV classes are intermediate classes for children.
— Adult classes are for adults to teach them basic swimming skills.
Each 45-minute session is held Monday through Thursday at 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. over a two week period.
Classes are taught by certificated American Red Cross instructors.
