Shuckers begin final homestand this evening

The Biloxi Shuckers, a half-game behind Southern League South division-leading Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp, open their final homestand of the season tonight, facing the Mobile Bay Bears.

The game is the first of a 10-game series at MGM Park. The first pitch is scheduled to be thrown out at 6:35 this evening.

The Biloxi Shuckers fell short in a chance to take first place on Sunday night, dropping their road trip finale to the Jackson Generals 6-2.

This evening the Shuckers will wear military-themed jerseys during the game, part of a season-long “Military Monday” salute to the military. Active duty and retired military can buy $7 reserved level tickets with a valid ID, or a $12 ticket that includes a hot dog, chips, and drink.

Live coverage beginning at 6:15 p.m. on Cruisin’ WGCM AM-1240/FM-100.9 and the Shuckers Radio Network.
