Local artists and craftsmen will showcase and sell their creative wares every weekend in October at the Biloxi Visitors Center’s October Vendor Showcase.
The 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. event, which is free and open to the public, offers shoppers the opportunity to meet talented local artists and purchase arts and crafts. Vendors will be set up every Saturday and Sunday in October in the Visitors Center’s front lobby, located in the shadow of the Biloxi Lighthouse on Beach Boulevard.
“We are excited about showcasing our talented vendors every weekend to kick off the holiday shopping season,” said Visitors Center Manager Onnie Gazzo. “Most do not realize that the Biloxi Visitors Center offers a wide variety of unique gifts in our gift shop that are made right here in Biloxi and in our surrounding communities. This event showcases and celebrates these local, talented artisans.”
The Visitors Center will also host its Holiday Open House on Saturday, Dec. 13, for last-minute shopping opportunities. Details on this event are forthcoming.
The Biloxi Visitors Center is located at 1050 Beach Blvd., and is open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The gift shop is located in the lobby on the first floor. To see photos of items available in the gift shop, click here.
