Dozens of community leaders take part in today’s Be Prepared report with an important message: Mask Up, Biloxi.
The numbers, however, continue to drive the report: 476 new positives statewide in the past 24 hours, along with 16 new deaths attributed to the coronavirus. There were 1,210 cases on Saturday and 527 on Sunday.
Locally, 10 new cases reported in the past 24 hours, following a weekend that saw a record 92 new cases on Saturday. The Mississippi State Health Department now reports that 36 people in Harrison County have died from the coronavirus since mid-March.
