Third batch of sculptures by Marlin Miller (Dec. 22-23, 2007)

Here are photographs of the third batch of Beach Boulevard sculptures created by Marlin Miller, an award-winning wood sculptor from Fort Walton Beach, Fla. In his third trip to Biloxi, Marlin used standing dead oak trees to create sculptures of two sailfish, including one being threatened by a shark. Both sculptures are on Beach Boulevard, just east of White Avenue. Miller’s efforts are complementing a city-commissioned project to create works of art from standing dead tree trunks along the waterfront in Biloxi.
