Halloween is just around the corner, and there’s still time for businesses, organizations, and community groups to join the fun by setting up and handing out candy at two of Biloxi’s favorite Halloween events.
Whether you prefer a festive drive-thru experience or a traditional Trunk or Treat, these community celebrations are a great way to spread Halloween cheer, connect with local families, and help make the season extra special for Biloxi’s little ghosts and goblins.
There’s still time to be part of the fun, but registration deadlines are approaching.
Businesses, organizations, and community groups interested in providing candy or setting up a booth to greet families during the popular drive-thru event, Halloween on Howard, set for Saturday, Oct. 17 on Howard Avenue at 5 p.m., have until Thursday, Oct. 15 to submit a participation form. Forms may be emailed to programs@biloxi.ms.us.
Participants choosing the booth option must provide their own table, chairs, signage, and decorations.
Those interested in providing candy or decorating a vehicle trunk for Trunk or Treat at Eagle Point Park, set for Saturday, Oct. 24, at 5 p.m. at 10519 Pin Oak Drive, have until Wednesday, Oct. 21, to submit a participation form. Forms may be emailed to rstewart@biloxi.ms.us or jlee@biloxi.ms.us, or mailed to Biloxi Parks & Recreation, Attn: Rob Stewart, 377 Hiller Drive, Biloxi, MS 39531.
Participants in the Trunk or Treat event must be set up by 4 p.m. Awards will be presented for the first-, second-, and third-place entries in the best-decorated trunk contest.
From handing out treats to creating a spooktacular display, every participant helps make these events memorable for local families. Gather your team, bring your Halloween spirit, and join the City of Biloxi in making this season a little sweeter.
