Developers and those who play a role in development can learn about a host of available federal programs and support during a briefing by representatives of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Friday (Nov. 18) from 9:30 a.m. to noon at City Hall in Biloxi.
During the free session, HUD staffers will provide information on such programs as America’s Affordable Communities Initiative, Energy Star and Healthy Homes, and provide background on other federal initiatives for community planning and development of single- family or multi-family proposals.
The session, which will be held in the council chambers on the second floor of City Hall, is open to everyone, but is expected to be particularly useful to those in the financial, real-estate, development and construction fields.
HUD representatives will include a question-and-answer session as part of their presentation.
