Mayor A.J. Holloway, one of three mayors of storm-stricken cities to address the U.S. Conference of Mayors this week, will speak about his presentation and Washington reception during an appearance this afternoon on WLOX-TV’s “4 O’Clock Show.”
Holloway, along with Ray Nagin of New Orleans and Manuel A. Diaz. of Miami spoke Tuesday to hundreds of mayors from across the country during the opening session of the 74th meeting of the U.S. Conference of Mayors.

While in Washington, Holloway also taped an hour-long interview with Brian Lamb, host of C-SPAN’s Sunday evening “Q&A” program. C-SPAN plans to air the segment, which includes storm footage from the city’s “Katrina & Biloxi” documentary, either Feb. 5 or 12.

Songwriter Brad Jerkins, who penned the opus “Heaven’s Cry” in the city-commissioned “Biloxi & Katrina” documentary, will perform the song during the closing credits at Sunday’s world premiere at the Saenger Theater.
The 5:30 p.m. event is free and open to the public. Doors to the theater will open at 5 p.m., and seating in the 900-seat theater will be on a first-come, first-served basis. The city will have a second presentation of the 50-minute program Sunday night at 7:30 if needed.
Several Biloxi radio stations played “Heaven’s Cry” this morning, and its was excerpted on WLOX Thursday afternoon and Friday morning, and writer Jean Prescott previewed the premiere in a story published this morning in The Sun Herald.
