Holloway discusses budget, development during breakfast

Biloxi has $230 million worth of development under construction or permitted, and progress is being made on rebuilding city facilities, but serious budget issues are facing the city.

Mayor A.J. Holloway touched on those issues for a Biloxi Chamber “Breakfast with the Mayor” session this morning at the Innovation Center on Popp’s Ferry Road.

And Chamber President Gifford Ormes surprised the mayor with a housewarming gift for the new Visitors Center now under construction north of the Biloxi Lighthouse. Ormes gave the mayor framed prints of posters from all 29 years of the Biloxi Seafood Festival.
