Thursday, Nov. 30: Christmas on the Water Captains and Skippers Meeting
Registered and interested boat owners are invited meet, mingle and munch at the Christmas on the Water Captains and Skippers meeting. Beginning at 6 p.m. at the Biloxi Yacht Club, 408 Beach Blvd., boat owners, captains and skippers will gather to receive parade information, registration packets and boat number for the parade. Friday, Dec. 1: First Friday/Christmas in the City Preview
The monthly downtown event takes place in the Rue Magnolia and Water Street area from 5 to 8 p.m. The evening affair is open to the public and will features area shop specials, refreshments, door prizes and a chance for event goers to win a $100 gift card to a downtown business. Friday, Dec. 1: Christmas on the Water Children’s Parade
The annual parade features kindergarten through fourth grade age children riding in hay wagons in celebration of Christmas.The parade begins at 6 p.m. at the Dr. Frank G. Friday, Dec. 1: Christmas on the Town Green
Celebrate Christmas with holiday festivities on the Biloxi Town Green, 710 Beach Blvd., from 6:30 to 8 p.m. This free event will feature the lighting of the Christmas tree by Mayor Andrew “FoFo” Gilich, Santa Claus giving away goodies and hot chocolate will be available while event goers decorate the Christmas tree. Saturday, Dec. 2: Ride aboard a Biloxi Schooner for the Christmas on the Water Boat Parade
The Maritime & Seafood Industry Museum is inviting the public to bring your own food and drinks and ride aboard one of the Biloxi Schooners from 4:30 to 8 p.m. $40 for Adults, and $25 for children ages 3-12. Saturday, Dec. 2: Christmas on the Water Boat Parade
Boats decorated in Christmas lights parade along the Mississippi Sound beginning at 6 p.m. south of the Biloxi Lighthouse and travel east, ending at Point Cadet. Dec. 7-23: Annual Christmas at Beauvoir
The garden and the historic Oak trees at Beauvoir, The Jefferson Davis Home and Presidential Library, 2244 Beach Blvd., will light up for the holidays. Recurring weekly on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 6 to 8:30 p.m. $12.50 for adults; $10 for military and seniors, $7.50 for children ages 6-18; and free for those under the age of 6. The inaugural Woolmarket Christmas parade begins at 2:30 p.m. on Shorecrest Road south of the bridge at Eagle Point. The parade will travel north on Shorecrest, east on Lorraine Road, north on John Lee Road, and end at Woolmarket Elementary School, 12513 John Lee Road. Wednesday Dec. 13 and Thursday, Dec. 14: North Pole Calling
Santa, Mrs. Claus and their Elves will be calling children, preschoolers up to Grade 2, to see if they are ready for the arrival of Christmas in this free program sponsored by the city’s Parks & Recreation Department and co-sponsored by the Biloxi Fire and Police Department and the Biloxi High JROTC. Parents/guardians must complete an application, indicate specific details that only Santa would know and chose a time between 6 and 8 p.m. that your child will be available to receive a phone call. Friday, Dec. 15: Senior Luncheon
Adults age 55 and older are invited to enjoy a holiday fest with the Parks & Recreation Department from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Donal M. Snyder Sr. Community Center, 2520 Pass Road. “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town” and visiting the West End Hose Co. Biloxi Main Street’s monthly Bike Biloxi takes on a Christmas theme this month when cyclists are asked to wear their favorite ugly Christmas sweater or jersey during the 6.5 mile ride, which begins at 6 p.m. at the Biloxi Visitors Center. Sunday, Dec. 31: New Year’s Eve Oyster Ball Drop & Fireworks
The Maritime & Seafood Industry Museum hosts its annual New Year’s Eve celebration from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. with heavy hors d’oeuvres, a full bar, champagne, photo booth, party favors, Beignets & Coffee to go and live entertainment by the Blackwater Brass Band. $90 per couple and $50 per person.
