Hearing on Convention Center district is this afternoon

The Biloxi Planning Commission will conduct a hearing this afternoon at 2 to hear public comments on the possibility of creating a Convention Center Overlay District that would allow more commercial development in the area on Beach Boulevard between Veterans Avenue and Debuys Road.

The hearing will be in the auditorium of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Municipal Building, which is at 676 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.

Natatorium to host end-of-school pool party

The City of Biloxi Parks and Recreation Department will hold its annual End-of-the-School Pool Party on Friday, May 25 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Biloxi Natatorium, 1384 Father Ryan Ave. The Hawaiian-themed event is open to children ages 6 to 12 and their parents. For details, click here.
