Grass crews working to ready U.S. 90 for Cruisin’ the Coast

Three grass-cutting crews are working on medians of U.S. 90 in Biloxi today and through Wednesday, and motorists are being asked to use extra caution when approaching work zones.

Two city crews – one at Point Cadet working westward and one at Rodenburg Avenue working eastward – are assisting a county crew working eastward from Debuys Road.

The city is helping in order to have the work done in time for Cruisin’ the Coast, the annual weeklong event that takes place Oct. 4-11 and attracts thousands of visitors to Biloxi and the Gulf Coast.

The grass cutting and edging on U.S. 90 in Biloxi are expected to be completed by Wednesday.
