Mardi Gras Museum to host book signing

The public is invited to a book signing for a new book by Biloxi native Danny Holley at the Biloxi Mardi Gras Museum, at 119 Rue Magnolia (next to Mary Mahoney’s Old French House Restaurant) today from 5 to 7 p.m.

The book, “‘Cappi’ — The Alabaster Boy,” was written by Holley to create an imaginary life for a young Italian boy depicted by a beautiful alabaster bust.

Holley whose family owned and operated the Magnolia Hotel, home of the Biloxi Mardi Gras Museum, for over 100 years, is a musician who grew up in a house which was south of the present day Mary Mahoney’s.

The event is free and refreshments will be served.  For more information, call the Mardi Gras Museum at (228) 435-6308.
