Funeral home announces program for McKeithen service

Here is the program for the funeral of Patrolman Robert McKeithen, as announced by Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Homes. Public visitation is from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Biloxi, where the funeral begins at 12:30 p.m. The procession is scheduled to leave First Baptist Church between 1:45 p.m. and 2 p.m., for Biloxi National Cemetey, where a graveside service begins at 2:30 p.m.

The funeral: WLOX and WXXV plan to air the funeral service on WLOX-ABC and WXXV-FOX Monday beginning at 12:30 p.m. WLOX, WXXV and The Sun Herald will stream the service online as well as on their respective websites.

Teamwork: A host of local law enforcement agencies will be responding to emergency calls in Biloxi throughout the day today.

Roadside tributes: Police ask those planning to stand along the route this afternoon to 1. Be aware of your surroundings, 2. Respect private property, and 3. Park legally.

Fire central: As many as two dozen Biloxi fire vehicles will occupy the parking lot south of the Biloxi Lighthouse this afternoon.
