As part of Earth Day commemoration, residents can pick up free Southern magnolias, American sycamores, swamp white oaks, and silky dogwoods in a free tree giveeaway on the Biloxi Town Green on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The project is being coordinated by the Land Trust for the Mississippi Coastal Plain’s Replant South Mississippi program and the City of Biloxi.
Trees will be given away on a first-come first-served basis.
