Workers installing a new water main on Forrest Avenue as part of the east Biloxi infrastructure project will work Tuesday evening at the Meadows Drive entrance to Keesler to avoid disrupting base traffic.
Walt Rode, who is overseeing the infrastructure work for city, said the work will coincide with the nightly closure of the Meadows gate and new pavement is expected to be in place at Meadows when the gate reopens Wednesday morning.
Forrest Avenue will continue to remain open during the work.
