The City of Biloxi Parks and Recreation Department, along with the Wildlife and Fisheries, will host Fishing for Catfish Kids Day on Saturday, October 22 at the Hiller Park Pond. Fishing will begin after the open ceremony which is at 8:30 a.m.
All kids ages 3 to 15 are invited to bring their tackle, cooler, fishing string and bait to the Hiller Park Pond, located in Hiller Park at 380 Hiller Drive, to enjoy a morning of fishing! Door prizes will be given away for tagged fishes caught as well as awards for the largest fish, smallest fish, ugliest fish, and the most unusual fish caught.
Interested participants may register for free the day of the event from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. Lunch will also be provided to the participants.
