The City of Biloxi’s Charles R. Hegwood Farmers Market, located at the I-110 overpass off Hopkins Boulevard and Howard Avenue, is closed until April 7.
The Parks and Recreation Department is improving the site for the market’s annual grand opening ceremony on April 7. “We will be repainting the lines, cleaning up the trash cans and basically giving the site an overall good cleaning,” said Parks and Recreation Director Cheryl Bell.
The Farmers Market Grand Opening will be Tuesday, April 7 from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a ceremony at 8:30 a.m. Farmers will be on hand to sell farm-fresh produce, plants, homemade baked goods, and more. After April 7, the Farmers Market will be open every Tuesday and Thursday from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
