Thousands of cruisers are showing off their vehicles on streets throughout downtown Biloxi this morning for the annual Cruisin’ the Coast Downtown Biloxi Block Party.
“This is a great event,” Mayor A.J. Holloway said. “The cars are all over downtown Biloxi. It’s a good chance for people to meet the cruisers, get a close-up look at their cars, see some great entertainment, and just enjoy the day.”
The event, which features entertainment stages in front of City Hall and on the Town Green, runs through 2 p.m.
Several downtown streets near City Hall are either closed to traffic or allow only limited traffic. Downtown restaurants are expecting brisk business from cruisers and the throng of spectators browsing the rows of cars.
