Council meets Wednesday; other news and notes

The Biloxi City Council, facing a July 4 holiday on Tuesday, will meet Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at City Hall, where an agenda of 19 measures will face councilmembers.

Zoning issues — residential variances, for the most part — dominate the policy agenda. Mayor A.J. Holloway also expects to update councilmembers on the city’s property insurance coverage.
