Council meeting to have restricted attendance

The Biloxi City Council will meet Tuesday at 1:30 p.m., but city leaders are asking that only those with pending business before the council attend the meeting since seating will be restricted.

The restricted seating also will be enforced during a noon special meeting to consider funding for Coast Transit Authority.

All meetings of the Biloxi City Council are recorded and replayed on the city’s YouTube channel on demand, and on BTV daily at 9 a.m., 9 p.m. and 3 p.m.

News & notes: Scheduling update, Woolmarket Road

Ward 6: Councilman Kenny Glavan will conduct his ward meeting this evening as scheduled, but the meeting will not have members of the public in attendance. Instead, reports will be recorded and replayed on the city’s YouTube channel and on BTV.

Woolmarket road work: On Tuesday and Wednesday, between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m., city crews will be striping Shiners Boulevard and Woolmarket Road. For a listing of traffic updates and road closures, click here.
