Biloxi residents will have a chance to hear an update on the city’s Comprehensive Plan process and give their input on the findings and direction of the plan.
The city and its design firm, Wallace Roberts & Todd, will host a trio of public hearings next week to discuss the findings, which are in a report titled “Existing Conditions, Trends, and Issues.” The report includes findings on demographic characteristics and trends; land use and flood zones; streets and transportation; community facilities and services; housing; the local economy and employment; and a review of existing plans.
The meetings, which will feature a brief presentation and discussion, will be:
— Monday, Dec. 8 at 5:30 p.m. at the Biloxi Community Center, Howard Avenue.
— Tuesday, Dec. 9 at 5:30 p.m. Donal Snyder Community Center, Pass Road.
— Wednesday, Dec. 10 at 8 a.m. Margaret Sherry Memorial Library,
Popp’s Ferry Road.
