City’s annual water quality report in mail, online

Annual testing of the city’s water systems shows that municipal water customers in Biloxi are receiving water that “meets or exceeds all federal and state requirements.”

The annual report is being mailed to the city’s 11,000 water customers this week and will be published Friday in The Bay Press. A copy of the report – and reports for previous years — can also be seen online by clicking here.

The four-page consumer-confidence report provides “detailed information on the quality of water
and related services, and determines the overall susceptibility that the source of our water faces from identified potential contaminants.”

Biloxi’s municipal water is provided by a series of city-maintained wells located throughout the community.
