The city’s Parks and Recreation Department will conduct a lifeguarding class this afternoon and Thursday afternoon to certify individuals who want to work either this summer or throughout the year as a lifeguard.
Interested individuals must be at least 15 years old and must complete a pre-test at the Natatorium either this afternoon or Thursday at 5 p.m.
The lifeguard classes will be April 10-17 at varied times. Fee for the class, which is only paid after succcessfully completing the pre-test and enrolling in the class, is $200 for Biloxi residents or $250 for others. The fee includes book and mask.
