The city’s Parks and Recreation Department will Celebrate Christmas at Eagle Point on Thursday from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Eagle Point Fire Station, 9370 Oaklawn Road.
The Dec. 7 celebration, which is free and open to the public, will include decorating a Christmas tree while enjoying hot chocolate and cookies. Santa Claus will be on hand to visit with children and give away treats.
The celebration will end with the lighting of the Christmas tree.
