The City of Biloxi will hold registration for its annual Summer Playground and Enrichment Program on Saturday, April 16 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Woolmarket Elementary gym, 12513 John Lee Road.
Registration is open to Biloxi residents in the Woolmarket and North Woolmarket communities with children ages 5 to 14 with and without disabilities. Camp sites will be held at North Woolmarket Elementary gym, Woolmarket and North Woolmarket Middle School gyms with Teen and Sun Camp at Mercy Cross. Sun Camp is camp for children and young adults with physical and mental disabilities. Camp will run Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. with extended care to 6 p.m. Each site will be limited to 70 campers.
The Summer Playground program is an eight week program which begins on Monday, May 31 and ends Friday, July 22. Through this program, children will have the opportunity to attend field trips along the Gulf Coast, participate in arts and crafts and organized games.
If slots are available, late registration and non-Biloxi resident registration will be held Monday, April 18 through Friday, April 29 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Armory in Hiller Park, 377 Hiller Drive.
