June 1 marks the beginning of hurricane season each year, and Biloxi residents and business owners will be receiving a host of preparedness information in the new edition of the city’s monthly newsletter.
The June issue of “BNews Monthly,” with 24 pages of information, is expected to arrive in mailboxes and PO boxes across the city in the next couple of days.
In addition to storm and flood preparedness info, the newsletter includes a community calendar that highlights such events as the opening of a new Camille exhibit at the Maritime & Seafood Industry Museum, and previews of the annual Blessing of the Fleet and an upscale go-kart race planned for Finishline Performance Karting.
Among the community-minded advertisers in the first anniversary issue are Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort, Mississippi Power, Edgewater Mall, Palace Casino Resort, Cable One/Sparklight, Alpha Care Urgent Care, The Peoples Bank, and the Biloxi Shuckers.
