The Biloxi City Council will hold a special meeting Tuesday morning at 10 to hear a report on future development, primarily along U.S. 90 in west Biloxi, which is related to an issue the council will be discussing during its 1:30 meeting on Tuesday afternoon.
Both meetings are open to the public and will be in the council chambers on the second floor of City Hall.
The morning meeting will provide councilmembers preliminary results of an analysis of the city’s capacity to provide water and sewer service in west Biloxi. The report may influence the council’s decision regarding a resolution at its 1:30 meeting that proposes to increase the number of condominium units and hotel rooms in individual developments.
Several other zoning issues are on the 1:30 agenda, including a proposal to allow mobile and manufactured homes on property south of old Highway 67; a measure to approve a proposed Cedar Lake Wellness Center Subdivision on 15.8 acres of property near Wells and Richard drives; and a resolution that would authorize a four-lot subdivision on 14 acres of land off Lorraine Road.
