The City of Biloxi has activated its information line at 435-6300 to help pass along information about any traffic issues.
The line, which can handle more than a dozen callers simultaneously, offers a taped message that will be updated as needed.
On Friday, tentative plans are to staff the line with city workers.
Residents and visitors also are encouraged to sign up for free Bmail news alerts from the city. Anyone can sign up for free by clicking on Bmail on the front page of the city web site.
