Family and friends of Scott Richardson, a 20-year employee of the City of Biloxi who is facing a liver transplant, will be hosting a blood drive on Saturday, Nov. 10 from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of Cedar Lake United Methodist Church, at 12332 Cedar Lake Road, Biloxi.
Richardson is a harbormaster with the city and is a 1981 graduate of St. Martin High School.
The blood drive, with Ochsner Blood Bank, will offer donors a Saints Blood Bank T-shirt, and a chance to win two plaza-level tickets to a New Orleans Saints home game.
Donors, who must provide a photo ID, should eat a healthy meal before donating. Individuals taking medication for high blood pressure or cholesterol also may donate.
