Store No. 1088 on Pass Road in west Biloxi on Friday morning at 9 will become the first Wal-mart in the retailer’s chain to sell “Katrina & Biloxi,” the city’s award-winning photo album and DVD package.
All proceeds from sales of the $40 package – which includes a 52-page book and an 80-minute DVD – benefit the City of Biloxi Katrina Relief Fund.
“This photo album and DVD show not only the level of destruction of this storm, but the resolve and resilience of the people of Biloxi,” Mayor A.J. Holloway said. “I’m delighted that the Biloxi Wal-mart is the first one to offer it. They deserve to be at the front of the line.”
