BILOXI’S PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT HOLDS HALLOWEEN EVENTS

The City of Biloxi’s Parks and Recreation Department will hold two Halloween events on Thursday, October 25, Halloween on the Green at the Biloxi Town Green and Halloween at Hiller Park at Biloxi’s Hiller Park.

Halloween on the Green, which will begin at 10 a.m., is open for infants to children five years of age. Space walks will be set up and carnival games, treats and prizes will be conducted between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. A costume contest will begin at 11 a.m. First, second, and third place prizes will be given to age groups 0 – 2 and 3 – 5. Refreshments will also be provided.

Halloween at Hiller Park, beginning at 5:30 p.m. is open to children ages 3 to 12 years of age. Space walks will be set up and carnival games will be conducted between 5:30 p.m. 6:30 p.m. Contest games will begin at 6:30 p.m. The games include the Egg Hunt for ages 3 to 5 year olds, Broom Stick Race for ages 6 to 8 year olds, Sack Race for ages 9 to 10 year olds and Pumpkin Race for 11 to 12 year olds. A costume contest will begin at 7 p.m. First, second, and third place prizes will be given to age groups 3 -5, 6-8, 9-10, and 11-12. Snacks will also be provided.

These events are open to children with and without disabilities.
