Motorists on Irish Hill Drive may notice a half-dozen new signs declaring “No Littering/$450 fine.”
The two-sided red-and-white signs are primarily near the CSX railway in the areas between Iberville Drive and Veterans Avenue.
The city’s sign shop erected the signs last week at the direction of Mayor “FoFo” Gilich. “It takes five people to pick up the litter every time we cut the grass,” Gilich said. “We’re trying to get people to think.”
