Biloxi A to Z: Weather warning, road work, COVID and more

A flood warning has been issued for the Biloxi River, where the river is expected to crest nearly a half foot above flood stage, at 12 feet 5 inches after midnight tonight.

Emergency managers remind those living near the river to take appropriate measures to protect life and property, and to monitor weather updates.

The dreary weather — which is expected to continue through Monday night, when it turns colder — is among the topics in today’s A to Z report. On the COVID-19 front, the numbers of new positive cases each day are trending downward in Harrison County.
