News & notes: Weekly report, tidelands, splash pad

Tidelands defeat: The Mississippi Supreme Court handed another Tidelands defeat to Secretary of State Michael Watson on Thursday with a unanimous ruling in favor of the Aldrich family, the City of Biloxi, and other local governments. To see more, click here.

Point Cadet splash pad: The splash pad at the Point Cadet Plaza has not opened to the public yet. The Parks & Recreation Department is conducting maintenance on the splash and expects to have it open next weekend. For more information, visit online by clicking here.
