Biloxi A to Z: This week’s video features a look at the stage surround work taking place inside the historic Saenger Theatre.
Crews are currently making repairs and painting the decorative plaster stage surround.
Once this work is completed, after the first of the year, crews plan to move to the flooring.
Future work includes repairing the chair lighting, interior painting, WIFI installation, and upgrading the stage lights.
The city is also looking at digital and audio improvements.

College basketball: Ole Miss basketball players took some time for practice at the Salvation Army Kroc Center on Friday. Ole Miss and Southern Miss square off against one another at the MS Gulf Coast Coliseum on Saturday at 3 p.m. To see pictures of Ole Miss players at the Kroc Center, click here.
Special Needs Christmas Dance: The Biloxi Parks & Recreation Department will host its annual Special Needs Christmas Dance tonight from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Donal M. Snyder Sr. Community Center.
