Biloxi A to Z: Market, preparedness, and boil water notices

This week’s video features a look at the Charles R. Hegwood Community Market, hurricane preparedness, and boil water notices.

The market, which often sees more visitors and vendors during the summer months, is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. The market is located at the corner of Howard Avenue and Hopkins Boulevard and includes a number of items such as produce, plants, baked goods, jams,  jewelry, shampoos, and more. Vendors are on site until 2 p.m., contingent on the weather and high temperatures.

This week’s video also includes information on where to watch “R U Ready?”, the city’s hurricane preparedness video program, and where residents can find storm preparedness information on the city’s website.

There is also information on how residents can keep up with boil water notices, the weekend forecast, a preview of weekend events, and where to watch replays of the city council meetings.
