Biloxi A to Z: This week’s video features the newest members of the Biloxi Sports Hall of Fame.

Fourteen individuals and three teams will be inducted into the Biloxi Sports Hall of Fame on Sunday at the Biloxi Civic Center off Howard Avenue.

The list of inductees includes long-time volunteer coaches and board members as well as a professional fisherman and boat racer, 1965 and 1970 Biloxi High baseball state champions, a 1966 Little League baseball champions, as well as athletes who have excelled in the sports of soccer, track, baseball, and football.

News & notes: Reports, power pole work in West Biloxi, BNews Monthly

Power pole replacement: Mississippi Power crews are in West Biloxi replacing power poles and restringing power lines. They will be in the area of Big Lake and Old Bay Road at Bay Pointe Drive beginning on Monday. Traffic control crews will be onsite to direct traffic down Hampton Lane. Work will take place Monday-Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists are reminded to be cautious of the workers. For road closure details, visit online by clicking here.
