Bennett, Easter events headline weekend fun; other news and notes

There’s a little bit of everything for everyone this weekend: Tony Bennett at the Beau Rivage, Kansas at the Hard Rock, cage fights at the IP, and a crawfish festival and Alegria at the Coast Coliseum.

And the most special event of all takes place Saturday morning on the Town Green: It’s the third annual Special Needs Easter Egg Hunt, where the city and the Civitans will partner to provide a morning of fun for children and young adults with physical or mental challenges. The Second Liners Mardi Gras Club, a group that is not limited to one holiday, will mark Easter with an extravaganza Sunday at Beck Park. To see what you’ll find at this event, click here.
