Be Prepared: The numbers and a reminder

The Mississippi State Department of Health says 357 new cases of the coronavirus have been identified in the past 24 hours statewide, including 21 new positive tests in Harrison County.

The latest on the numbers – along with a reminder of the guidelines from the Opening up Biloxi Again plan – are in today’s Be Prepared report.

Key messages: Nearly every employee in every business in Biloxi you enter these days should be wearing a mask, according to the city’s guidelines, which were released in May. Another key message:  “A great deal of what happens now regarding the spread of the coronavirus is up to us. It’s a matter of personal responsibility. It’s a matter of discipline. It’s a matter of following the guidelines.”
