A to Z: St. Patrick’s, Popp’s Ferry and more

St. Patrick’s Day, Grillin’, and Popp’s Ferry bridge top this week’s Biloxi A to Z report. In fact, it’s a detailed look at some of the big issues and big events in Biloxi this week, with an eye to the weekend.

On Saturday, downtown Biloxi will be filled with green in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. The Hibernia Marching Society will hold its annual St. Patrick’s Day 5K run and 1-mile walk at 9 a.m. and its annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade at 2 p.m. Biloxi Police will prohibit traffic from the run route beginning at 8:30 a.m. and the parade route beginning at 1:30 p.m. And, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Biloxi Main Street will hold its annual Grillin’ on the Green on the Biloxi Town Green, 710 Beach Blvd.
