News and Notes: Weekly reports, road closures, Lighthouse Fair

Road closure: Beauvoir Road from Beach Boulevard to Pass Road will be closed to through traffic starting Monday, April 29, through Friday, May 3. Plan ahead to take an alternate route. This closure will be in effect 24 hours a day while work crews install water and sewer.  Local traffic will need to access Beauvoir Road from the north end by way of Pass Road. Biloxi Lighthouse Arts & Crafts Fair: Saturday, May 4, the 7th Annual Biloxi Lighthouse Arts & Crafts Fair will take place at the Biloxi Visitors Center. Vendor applications are currently being accepted for this very popular event. For information, call the Biloxi Visitors Center at 228-435-3105 or for an application, email giftshop@biloxi.ms.us.

Biloxi Sports Hall of Fame: The Biloxi Sports Hall of Fame was created to identify and honor individuals who have significantly contributed to the betterment of athletics in the City of Biloxi through exemplary performance as a player or coach or in any supporting role of superior accomplishment.
