The arrival Wednesday of the 130 foot yacht Days Like This at Point Cadet Marina is providing a glimpse of what the Biloxi waterfront could look like if the city’s waterfront master plan – expanded marinas, restaurants, boardwalks, etc. – continues to move forward. The Days Like This, based in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., is the summertime play toy of a New England family who is making their first excursion into the Gulf after years of hopscotching the East Coast. Said Mayor Gilich: “This is the kind of growth interest we’d like to see, and we believe by providing the amenities that people expect we will indeed grow the market to include this caliber of vessels. All we need to do is get ‘em here once.”
